About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate Patient Care Tech to join our team in an on-site capacity. In this vital role, you will serve as a key support to nurses, ensuring high-quality direct patient care. Your day will involve assisting patients with essential activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support, while maintaining a safe and clean environment. You will play a crucial part in monitoring patient status, accurately documenting care in electronic health records, and upholding strict infection control standards. Beyond clinical tasks, you will provide compassionate and respectful service to patients and their families, aligning with Hartford Healthcare's core values.
Hiring Process
Candidates with a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or those who have completed a patient care technician training program are preferred. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required or must be obtained shortly after hire.
