About the Role
The Medical Assistant II serves as a vital clinical partner to physicians and surgeons within our Multispecialty practice in Brooklyn, NY. This full-time, day-shift role is designed to deliver high-quality patient care by seamlessly blending clinical support with essential administrative duties. The position focuses on rooming patients, performing EKGs and Point of Care Testing, and maintaining accurate documentation within the EPIC system.
Beyond general medical assisting experience, this role requires a specialist mindset. The ideal candidate brings at least two years of experience in a specialized area such as phlebotomy, pulmonary testing, surgery, or cardiology. In this capacity, you will not only manage patient flow and assist with procedures but also mentor less experienced staff, ensuring a supportive and efficient environment for both patients and the medical team.
