This position is part of the Emergency Room at Lomas, within the Clinical Nursing Support department. The team is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatric adults, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment during critical moments.
As a member of the Emergency Room team, you will serve as a vital support to licensed staff, delivering basic patient care and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve observing patients to ensure their safety and well-being, recording vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living such as meals, hygiene, and ambulation. You will also support the therapeutic plan of care for patients at extreme risk and assist with routine invasive procedures like phlebotomy and wound care as directed. This role requires a proactive approach to patient safety, encouraging patients to participate in their own care and reporting any concerns or environmental risks immediately.
