This position serves as a vital support member of the Emergency Room team at Lomas, dedicated to providing compassionate basic patient care across the entire lifespan, from neonates to geriatric patients. You will work in a dynamic, rotating shift environment, ensuring a safe and clean setting while assisting licensed staff with routine and invasive procedures. Your presence helps maintain the therapeutic plan of care for patients at extreme risk, fostering an environment where safety and patient participation are prioritized.
This role offers a competitive compensation package that includes shift differentials: 17% for weekday nights, 26% for weekend nights, and 15% for weekend days. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates. Compensation is determined by factors including experience, education, and organizational needs.
Candidates must meet essential qualifications, including a High School diploma or GED equivalent and specific training credentials (such as MA, PCT, CNA, or UNMH Tech). A minimum of six months of directly related experience is required. Successful applicants must obtain CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification within 30 days of hire. The role involves working with chemical and biohazardous materials, requiring strict adherence to PPE protocols and completion of tuberculosis testing upon hire.
