About the Role
We are seeking a Member Experience Specialist to join our team at the Montgomery Branch in Albuquerque. This is a regular, part-time, 100% on-site position dedicated to creating exceptional member experiences. You will be the face of the Credit Union, responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing relationships with our members. Your day will involve resolving issues to ensure win-win outcomes, performing a broad variety of service functions including teller transactions and account maintenance, and proactively analyzing member financial needs to present suitable product options. You will serve as a trusted advisor, helping members navigate money management and financial matters while upholding the Credit Union's quality and professional reputation.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleProcess account maintenance tasks such as check orders and debit cards
- check_circleConsult members regarding basic money management and financial matters
- check_circleMaintain effective coordination and communication with all departments
- check_circleCreate and enhance member relationships through proactive engagement
- check_circleGenerate referrals for consumer loans, credit cards, and KFS services
- check_circleAdhere to regulatory holds and internal compliance expectations
- check_circleResolve member inquiries and problems to ensure satisfaction
- check_circleAssist other branches or departments as needed to support operations
Requirements
- verifiedHigh School Diploma or equivalent
- verifiedBachelor's degree preferred
- verifiedMinimum one year's cash handling experience
- verifiedSales and customer service experience preferred
- verifiedPrevious lending or sales experience preferred
- verifiedExperience with IRA and other consumer deposit products preferred
- verifiedPrior sales experience with individual performance goals preferred
- verifiedStrong analytical and financial skills
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree. One year's cash handling experience, sales, and customer service experience. Previous lending or sales experience. Experience with IRA and other consumer deposit products. Prior sales experience with individual performance and/or sales goals where goals were met or exceeded routinely.
