About the Role
As a Leasing Consultant, you serve as the face of our community, playing a pivotal role in a highly competitive marketplace. Your primary mission is to market the community to prospective residents, manage day-to-day interactions with current residents, and coordinate lease renewals. You are the most important personnel in determining the community's success, bridging the gap between potential tenants and the lifestyle we offer.
This position is designed for individuals who thrive on sales, marketing, and customer service. You will be the first point of contact for prospects, guiding them through the leasing process from the initial inquiry to move-in. Your day involves conducting property tours, reviewing applications, and ensuring a seamless transition for new residents. Beyond the sales aspect, you are responsible for maintaining the community's appearance, managing office operations, and fostering a welcoming environment through daily tasks like preparing refreshments and ensuring the leasing office and amenities are pristine.
Training for this role focuses heavily on Fair Housing compliance, effective closing techniques, and strategies for overcoming objections. You will work closely with the Assistant Manager and Community Manager to execute outside marketing strategies and stay informed on competitor rates to effectively position our community in the market.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleInspect leased apartments prior to move-in
- check_circleMaintain guest cards and follow up on leads via email and phone
- check_circleEnter prospect information into Entrata and retrieve incomplete data
- check_circleForward completed lease files for review and approval
- check_circleEnter work orders into Entrata and follow up on maintenance issues
- check_circleAssist with roommate matching processes
- check_circleCoordinate move-in processes including gate codes and parking decals
- check_circleManage lease renewals and promote annual renewal campaigns
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's Degree preferred; or High School diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience
- verifiedKnowledgeable in Microsoft Word and Excel
- verifiedKnowledge in Entrata preferred
