The Operations Manager serves as the primary leader for client facilities and personnel under their supervision. This role exists to ensure that ABM delivers professional, high-quality service while maintaining strict compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards established by the Company, its Clients, and governing authorities. Beyond operational oversight, the Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that the planned profitability of their assigned accounts is realized through effective cost control and resource management.
In this position, you will act as a bridge between employees and clients, communicating effectively to ensure the fulfillment of performance and quality requirements. You will maintain positive relationships with client representatives while overseeing the recruitment, hiring, and training of all employees in your area of responsibility. A key part of your day involves ensuring that every team member receives proper training commensurate with their assigned duties, that supervisors understand their roles, and that all training is documented according to Company standards. You will also monitor safety programs, manage payroll accuracy, and ensure that any incidents or injuries are documented and processed appropriately.
