About the Role
This position serves as the primary point of contact for government contract operations, ensuring that all work is executed in strict accordance with contractual obligations and federal regulations. The role is critical for maintaining the integrity of the contract, managing the AbilityOne program requirements, and overseeing a team of janitorial and maintenance staff in a multi-location environment.
You will lead the day-to-day operations, acting with the authority to make decisions on behalf of the organization regarding contract matters, while collaborating closely with the Operations Manager. The role demands a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on management, from maintaining safety and quality control programs to managing budgets and personnel schedules.
Work Environment
This is an exempt, full-time position with a flexible schedule that may include long hours, weekends, and holidays. The work environment is dynamic and can involve both indoor and outdoor settings. You may encounter extreme temperatures, wet or humid conditions, and areas with moving mechanical parts or potential hazards such as toxic chemicals, electrical risks, or vibration. The role requires the ability to lift significant weight and navigate various physical challenges while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleEnsure TRDI employees, subcontractors, and vendors comply with contractual and government regulations
- check_circleServe as primary point of contact for the Government with authority to make contract decisions
- check_circleMaintain Property Control Plan for Government Furnished Property (GFP) management
- check_circleSchedule personnel, approve timecards, and manage inventory of supplies, equipment, and vehicles
- check_circleExecute employee performance evaluations through the payroll system within required timeframes
- check_circleManage day-to-day operations to ensure work aligns with contract requirements
- check_circleGuide employee expectations, conduct performance reviews, and implement process improvement plans
- check_circleOversee contract budget management and review processes for operational efficiency
- check_circlePrepare estimates for contract additions or deletions by providing field information and specifications
- check_circleManage and maintain Quality Control and Safety Programs in compliance with federal and state regulations
- check_circleExecute required reports, inspections, and logs as mandated by the contract
- check_circleFacilitate the AbilityOne interview process and coordinate medical documentation acquisition
Requirements
- verifiedCollege degree in Management or related field
- verified10 years relevant work and leadership experience in a multi-location environment
- verifiedOSHA 30-hour General Industry course or ability to acquire certification within 30 days
- verifiedPass and maintain required security clearance
- verifiedExperience with Labor Unions and regulatory laws
- verifiedExperience working with Community Agencies and/or individuals with disabilities
- verifiedGovernment service contract experience
- verifiedStrong knowledge of automated Payroll System
- verifiedGood knowledge of automated Safety System
