Our facility in Littleton, CO has an immediate opportunity for a Waste Water Treatment Lead to join our mission. This role is pivotal in developing, administering, and implementing environmental programs in accordance with governmental requirements. You will serve as a key leader in monitoring wastewater treatment activities, compliance, and auditing efforts. The position involves conducting studies and experimental protocols to prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that implement recommendations, as well as preparing data for environmental reports regarding plant processes and permit reporting.
A significant aspect of this role involves maintaining operational continuity and safety. You will perform on-call computer monitoring from home during off-hours and weekends, responding to emergency callouts as needed. You will also accept delegation of authority for the Wastewater Operations Associate Manager during absences. In the event of spill incidents, you will provide leadership in containment and cleanup to ensure the safety of responding personnel and the completeness of the operation. Additionally, you will manage and maintain the wastewater operations lab, including supplies, reagents, and analytical equipment, while implementing and maintaining a Quality Assurance/Quality Control lab program.
