As a member of the Rapid Response Team, you will function as a patient advocate and advanced care provider, operating within the scope defined by the New Mexico Bureau of Emergency Medical Services and the UNMH Rapid Response Medical Director. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in high-pressure environments, working autonomously to triage, stabilize, and guide care until specialized providers arrive.
Your day will involve responding to a wide spectrum of patient needs, from neonates to geriatric patients, across various hospital settings. Beyond clinical interventions, you will maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, manage equipment and supplies, and actively participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
