About the Role
This is a seasonal opportunity for a Texas Certified Paramedic at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, TX. The role is integral to the park's Public Safety team, ensuring the well-being of guests and team members through rapid, professional medical response.
As a Paramedic, you will serve as the first line of defense in medical emergencies, conducting comprehensive patient assessments and delivering critical care ranging from First Aid and Basic Life Support to advanced trauma management. You will operate within a dynamic environment, responding to everything from minor injuries to Multiple Casualty Incidents (MCI), while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards.
Your day involves a blend of high-stakes clinical care and proactive safety management. You will be responsible for the inspection and maintenance of medical vehicles and equipment, conducting safety training, and performing facility audits. Beyond direct patient care, you will collaborate closely with rides operations to assist with unloads, manage radio communications, and ensure seamless coordination with external emergency services when advanced transport is required.
Hiring Process
Candidates must be currently certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) as an EMT-P or Licensed Paramedic and hold a valid Texas driver's license. The position reports directly to the Safety and Health Services Supervisor.
