Bolthouse Fresh Foods is a leader in carrot production, serving as a grower, packer, processor, and shipper. Headquartered in Bakersfield, California, we are a proud employer to 1,600 dedicated individuals. Since 1915, we have been committed to growing and producing high-quality carrots, and today, we are one of North America's largest growers and distributors of fresh carrots for cooking and snacking. Additionally, we supply premium natural ingredients for the food and beverage industry. With over a century of excellence, Bolthouse Fresh™ products are available at major retailers across North America.
As a Palletizer, you will be the final link in our production chain, ensuring finished bags, cartons, and trays are safely and efficiently placed onto pallets. You will play a vital role in maintaining the flow of product through the production process while upholding our strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards. This position requires a hands-on approach, where you will rotate through various line stations, manually assemble IFCO trays, and ensure packaging supplies are positioned correctly for your workstation. Your work directly impacts the quality of the product that reaches our customers, requiring attention to detail in labeling, sealing, and stacking according to specific patterns.
This is a fast-paced, seasonal role within a cold and wet environment (40°F or below). The work involves moving mechanical parts and occasional exposure to environmental factors such as fumes and airborne particles. You will be on your feet for extended periods, performing repetitive motions, and lifting up to 50 lbs. The role requires the ability to navigate ramps, steps, and ladders safely. While the 1st Shift runs from 6:15 AM to 5:00 PM, business needs may require mandatory overtime, weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules.
