The Quality Control Inspector I operates under supervision to perform receiving, in-process, final, and lab certification testing on components, materials, and finished products. This role is essential for ensuring that every device leaving our facility meets strict customer specifications and internal quality standards.
In this position, you will apply a working knowledge of GD&T principles while utilizing handheld inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and various gages. Your day-to-day involves conducting physical and visual inspections, maintaining accurate documentation per Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and reviewing Device History Records. You will also be responsible for quarantining non-conforming parts, communicating potential issues to Quality Engineering, and supporting the training of inspection personnel.
