About the Role
This opportunity is designed for drivers who want to excel in open deck operations while earning top-tier compensation. As a Contract Driver (1099, Solo), you will specialize in Double Drop, Step Deck, and Removable Gooseneck equipment on Over-The-Road (OTR) routes. The role offers a minimum guaranteed weekly pay of $1,200, with an average gross weekly pay of $3,000 based on 22% of load rates. You can expect to average between 1,900 and 2,700 miles per week.
In this position, you will handle 25% of the load and unload duties, as well as tarping responsibilities. The schedule allows for flexibility; while you can expect to be out for 14 to 21 days, you are free to stay out longer if desired. Drivers earn two days of home time for every 14 days worked and are guaranteed to be home at least one weekend per month.
Hiring Process & Orientation
We offer a comprehensive paid orientation to ensure you are ready to hit the road. During this period, accommodation is covered with drivers assigned their own rooms, lunch is included, and travel expenses are covered either partially or fully. To apply, candidates must hold a Class A license without a (V) Medical Variance restriction and possess an (H) Hazardous Materials endorsement at the time of hire. Additionally, applicants must have at least two years of Heavy Haul experience.
