About the Role
This opportunity is designed for drivers who want to excel in open deck operations while earning competitive compensation. As a Contract Driver (1099, Solo), you will operate Double Drop, Step Deck, and Removable Gooseneck trailers on Over-The-Road (OTR) routes. The role offers a minimum guaranteed weekly pay of $1,200, with an average gross weekly total of $3,000 based on 22% of load rates. Drivers can expect to average between 1,900 and 2,700 miles per week.
In this position, you will handle 25% of the load and unload duties and 25% tarping. The schedule allows for flexibility; while the expected time out is 14 to 21 days, drivers may stay out longer if desired. The home time structure provides two days of home time for every 14 days worked, ensuring you are home at least one weekend per month.
Hiring Process & Orientation
We offer a paid orientation to help you get started. During this period, accommodation is covered with drivers assigned their own room, lunch is included, and travel expenses are covered either partially or fully.
To qualify, candidates must hold a Class A license without a (V) Medical Variance restriction and possess an (H) Hazardous Materials endorsement at the time of hire. Additionally, applicants must have at least two years of Heavy Haul experience.
