As an Ophthalmic Technician at Cincinnati Eye Institute, you will be a vital asset to our ophthalmologists, assisting in delivering excellent patient care during every visit. This role is designed to handle a wide range of duties, utilizing specialized equipment to perform the initial testing required to prepare patients for an exam. You will work closely with the clinic team to ensure a smooth flow of patient care, anticipating physician needs and managing the schedule with urgency and professionalism.
In this position, you will be the first point of contact for patients, greeting them warmly and ensuring they feel valued throughout their journey. Your day will involve gathering medical histories, recording vital signs, and performing diagnostic tests such as dilation, refraction, and visual fields. You will also play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of exam and treatment rooms, ensuring that every patient encounters a professional and organized environment.
