This position serves as a vital leader within our production environment, managing all aspects of the assigned hourly workforce. You will be responsible for defining and implementing plans that support business objectives, including quality and financial metrics. Your day-to-day involves meeting specific cell goals for cost, quality, delivery, and environmental, health, and safety (EH&S), while leading process improvement opportunities using continuous improvement and Lean strategies.
As a leader, you will coach employees to build a motivated and effective team, conducting performance and skill reviews for Operations Technicians, Powerplant Mechanics, and Inspectors. You will also implement root-cause corrective actions to maintain quality standards and execute contingency plans to meet schedules. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring FAA compliance and a commitment to the EH&S program.
This role is designated as Onsite. Employees in onsite roles work primarily at the assigned facility, as production and maintenance workers are essential to engine development. The position is located at our Midland, GA facility (8801/8987 Macon Rd, BLDG MPC).

2 years of leadership experience or performing a supervisory, manager, or team-lead role. Experience in the Aftermarket MRO industry of gas turbine repair and FAR 145/ FAR 121 / FAR 65. Lean manufacturing experience, and/or continuous improvement, Six-Sigma training. Experience working with Solumina, SAP, and MS Office. Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization. Ability to motivate teams to achieve business goals. Organizational and planning skills.
