This position serves as a vital bridge between store operations, community engagement, and financial stewardship. You will champion company-sponsored programs and sustainability efforts, representing Walmart to external organizations while fostering strong relationships with key community groups. Your mission is to ensure the facility's financial performance aligns with sales and profit goals, utilizing data insights to drive continuous improvements and strategic planning.

Your day involves initiating and directing community outreach programs, encouraging associates to serve as good members of the community. You will ensure compliance with company policies by analyzing reports, monitoring asset protection and safety controls, and developing action plans to correct deficiencies. A significant portion of your time is dedicated to the supervision and development of hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback to help them achieve business goals.
You will assist the store manager in driving financial performance by reviewing Profit and Loss statements, controlling expenses, and participating in budget forecasting. This requires identifying improvement opportunities, building accountability for results, and demonstrating adaptability. You will also support the Open Door Policy, ensuring that business processes and practices are executed with a focus on ethics, integrity, and the well-being of the team.
Candidates for this position will be evaluated based on their minimum qualifications, which include specific combinations of college education, retail experience, and supervisory experience. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, along with experience supervising five or more direct reports.
