About the Role
As an Assistant Store Manager at AutoZone, you will support daily store operations, energize team performance, and drive sales in a fast-paced retail environment. With strong leadership, clear communication, and a passion for delivering "WOW!" customer service, you will play a key role in shaping store success and developing future talent. You will act as a leader in the absence of the Store Manager or Commercial Sales Manager, taking responsibility for store operations, ensuring efficient workflows, and maintaining compliance with company standards.
Your day will involve fostering a positive, engaging environment through clear communication with employees and customers. You will help meet sales targets, maintain accurate inventory levels, and optimize cash flow to drive store performance. Additionally, you will ensure customers receive exceptional service by proactively resolving concerns and transforming complaints into positive experiences. You will also lead company initiatives to maximize productivity, training, and retention of high-performing employees while maintaining operational efficiency through effective store merchandising and creating a clean, organized, and visually appealing shopping environment.
