The Operations Manager II serves as the leader for locations managing up to 300 equivalent truck units. This role is designed to ensure business objectives and labor requirements are met through direct involvement and strategic delegation. You will oversee a diverse team including Operations Supervisors, Technicians-In-Charge, Customer Service Coordinators, and various technical staff to support the needs of the assigned location.
In this position, you will balance financial, operating, quality, safety, and asset targets against the requirements of the business. Your day-to-day involves managing location performance against key metrics, ensuring compliance with all company processes, Standard Operating Procedures, and Standard Repair Practices. This role is critical for adhering to Ryder Maintenance Operations policies and may serve as a development position to prepare incumbents for the Senior Operations Manager role.
