The Field Service Engineer (FSE) serves as the primary contact for customer service and repair needs, ensuring that Varian Medical Systems (VMS) equipment operates efficiently at all times. This field-based role requires you to represent VMS within a designated service territory, acting as the bridge between our technical capabilities and our customers' critical needs.
You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, upgrading, and performing preventative maintenance on designated VMS equipment. Success in this role demands a high level of professional communication with your team, customers, management, sales, and other technical support. You will manage your own schedule to prioritize urgent customer requests, maintain effective territory management, and develop strong customer relationships through excellent interpersonal skills.
This is a remote field position based in Waukesha, WI, requiring onsite work at various local customer locations. Candidates must live within close proximity to Waukesha or be willing to relocate.
