About the Team
Anduril's Tactical Recon & Strike (TRS) division operates with a dual mission: building highly capable autonomous drones and manufacturing solid rocket motors at scale. We transform concepts like Ghost, Anvil, Bolt, and Altius into fully operational capabilities by partnering closely with specialist engineering, operations, and production teams. Through our Anduril Rocket Motor Systems (RMS) team, we design and manufacture solid rocket motors using advanced materials and proprietary formulations to deliver safe, reliable propulsion systems for demanding mission environments.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePerform precision PCB rework including fine-pitch soldering, component replacement, and wiring modifications
- check_circleFabricate test fixtures, electronic test boxes, jigs, and adapters to support engineering workflows
- check_circleConduct board-level bring-up testing, engineering verification testing, and regression testing
- check_circleTroubleshoot electrical assemblies and subassemblies to identify faults and performance issues
- check_circleDocument build steps, test results, rework performed, and lessons learned for traceability
- check_circleMaintain lab organization including ESD-safe practices, tool calibration, and inventory tracking
- check_circleTravel to suppliers and test sites to support engineering teams and field readiness activities
- check_circleBuild complex electromechanical assemblies and integrate them into final autonomous drone products
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum 4 years experience as an engineering technician in R&D
- verifiedU.S. Person status required
- verifiedAssociate level degree in electronics/electrical assembly or equivalent (preferred)
- verifiedProficiency with PCB rework down to 0201
- verifiedExperience with electrical test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscope, etc.)
- verifiedAbility to read PCBA schematics and drawings
Nice to Have
Associate level degree in electronics/electrical assembly or equivalent. Strong understanding of PCBs, PCBAs, prototyping and assembly techniques. Familiarity with IPC Quality Standards (IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620) and other assembly and inspection standards. Experience with electrical CAD tools such as Altium, Rapid Harness, or other EWIS software. Prior experience working with JIRA, Teamcenter (PLM), Oracle (ERP), or equivalent.
