About the Role
As a Manufacturing Engineer on Missiles, you will play a key role in shaping the manufacturing design for Anduril's Missile division. Your core mission is to ensure the highest production quality while supporting the development and implementation of new products across several program designs. This role encompasses the entire manufacturing value chain, from Design for Manufacturability and tool selection to process optimization, vendor collaboration, and quality planning for hardware production.
You will drive the transition from initial prototyping through to large-scale full-scale production. By working closely with design engineers, you will embed design for manufacturing best practices into the development effort, ensuring a smooth path from design to prototype to rate production. You will own the critical documentation required to manufacture product group hardware at scale, including MBOMs, work instructions, and requirements. Additionally, you will develop production and test methodologies to enable scaling capabilities for larger, more complex products, often traveling to supplier and partner sites to solve ongoing production issues and implement process procedures.
