The Division of Hematology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is home to the Blood Cancer Program, where investigators are actively engaged in diverse research activities aimed at improving outcomes for patients with blood cancers and related disorders. Our work is characterized by extensive collaboration between laboratory scientists and physicians and is supported by funding from the National Cancer Institute (NCI), the American Cancer Society (ACS), the Leukemia and Lymph Society (LLS), and numerous other foundations and industry sources.
Clinical Science Professionals within this division perform critical research-related functions, ranging from patient-oriented research and clinical trials to epidemiologic, behavioral, and health services studies. The team operates with a shared mission to advance medical knowledge through rigorous, regulatory-compliant research conducted with human subjects.
