This position serves as a sworn police officer dedicated to protecting the life, safety, and welfare of stadium patrons and associates. As a key member of the security team, you will enforce laws and regulations, investigate crimes committed on or against the stadium property, and maintain order within the venue. This role requires the exercise of independent judgment within established guidelines and carries the full apprehension and arrest powers of a sworn officer.
The position operates under minimal direct supervision, reporting to the incident commander or their designee. Success in this role demands tactful, conscientious, and efficient performance, even when facing personal risk or hostile environments. You will be the first line of defense during emergencies, responsible for everything from routine patrols and revenue protection to high-stakes rescue operations and crisis prevention.
Your day will be dynamic and varied, ranging from proactive foot patrols to ensure venue security to responding immediately to calls for police service. You may find yourself providing routing information and emergency first aid, including CPR, to distressed patrons, or conducting thorough searches of people, vehicles, and mail to detect contraband.
The role often involves physically demanding tasks, such as pursuing fleeing suspects, subduing resisting individuals, and navigating confined areas like loading docks and elevators. You will also engage in extended visual and audio surveillance and gather critical information through interviews with victims, witnesses, and informants. In the event of an incident, you will preserve evidence, identify witnesses, and potentially testify in court regarding your findings.
Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience with active law enforcement powers within the state of Georgia. The selection process evaluates your ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as your capacity to function effectively both within groups and independently.
We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
