Nursing Assistant 2 (HCT)

About the Role

This position serves as a vital member of the healthcare team, dedicated to providing direct and indirect nursing care with a strong focus on patient needs. The role requires demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Key responsibilities include assisting with simple procedures, initiating CPR, and managing the admitting, transfer, and discharge processes. The incumbent must possess knowledge of normal growth and development and be prepared to respond dynamically to changing patient conditions.

Beyond clinical duties, this role involves acting as a preceptor for new Critical Care Technicians (CT), fostering unit morale, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. The position demands a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, upholding ethical principles in decision-making, and engaging in active personal and professional development. Success in this role contributes to maintaining positive public relations and ensuring the seamless exchange of critical patient information.

Work Schedule

This position is scheduled for Evening shifts.
