About the Role
This position serves as a vital member of the healthcare team, dedicated to providing excellent patient care with a focus on communication, collaboration, and ethical decision-making. The role involves performing direct and indirect nursing care activities, including assisting with simple procedures, initiating CPR, and managing the admitting, transfer, and discharge processes. A strong understanding of normal growth and development is essential to respond effectively to changing patient needs.
Beyond clinical duties, team members are expected to maintain a safe work environment, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and uphold positive public relations. The role also includes acting as a preceptor for new Critical Care Technicians (CT), fostering team spirit, and taking an active role in personal and professional development.
Work Schedule
The position is based on an 8-hour day shift schedule, rotating every other weekend and holidays in accordance with the bargaining unit agreement.
