About Medical City Plano

Opened in 1975, Medical City Plano is a 600+ bed acute care hospital serving Plano and Collin County with over 2,000 employees and 1,400 physicians. As a cornerstone of the Medical City network, we are committed to partnership, innovation, and legacy. Our campus features advanced programs including a Comprehensive Stroke Center (the first in Dallas, Collin, or Denton counties), a Level I Trauma Center, The Bariatric Surgery Institute, a Wound Care Center, and a Level 3 neonatal intensive-care unit.

About the Role

As a Nurse Manager of Progressive Care, you will step into a leadership position where building a healthier tomorrow is more than just a job. You will have 24/7 accountability for a defined patient care area, tasked with creating a climate optimal for individualized, goal-directed nursing care. Your mission is to foster an environment where nurses practice autonomously using evidence-based practices, ensuring the safety, rights, and well-being of patients, families, and communities.

In this role, your passion for leading and creativity will be valued as you manage unit-based staff, oversee budgets, and drive continuous performance improvement. You will champion the Synergy Model and work to control costs without compromising the quality of care or patient safety.
