The Nurse Manager 24/7 Practice serves as a vital leader accountable for implementing the vision, mission, and values of Mayo Clinic and the Department of Nursing within defined areas of practice. This role plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates operational, fiscal, and personnel activities to ensure the provision of quality patient care around the clock. You will contribute to strategic planning, advocate for resource allocation to promote efficient and compassionate care, and manage the total work unit budget.
In this position, you will foster a professional environment that encourages ongoing staff development and shared decision-making. You will act as a key resource, facilitating collaboration between nursing personnel and other healthcare disciplines both within the organization and the broader healthcare community. Direct reports may include nurse supervisors of assigned inpatient units.
