The Nurse Administrator serves as a strategic leader responsible for the overall management and coordination of functions within a division of Nursing. This role holds accountability for managing within the broader context of the organization, with a core mission to transform organizational values into daily operations that yield an efficient, effective, and caring environment.
The position focuses on developing, implementing, maintaining, and evaluating policies, programs, and services related to assigned functions. The Nurse Administrator ensures that designated clinical nursing practice is supported by evidence-based programs, systems, and services. Success in this role requires actively assessing the environment, forecasting trends, and coaching and mentoring others to ensure core values are consistently implemented.
All responsibilities are accomplished in alignment with the vision, mission, and values of Mayo and the Department of Nursing.
This role is eligible for TN (TN) visa sponsorship. Successful sponsorship will require the candidate to hold a state license and complete the VisaScreen or equivalent certification.
