About the Role

As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), you will employ multiple modalities, including regional anesthesia, MAC sedation, and general anesthesia, to provide adequate analgesia or anesthesia during surgical procedures. Your scope of practice is defined by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and the North Carolina Practice Act, with accountability to the North Carolina Board of Nursing.

You will work with an exceptional team that supports full-scope nurse anesthesia practice. The role offers a great mix of cases including general surgery, orthopedics, urology, plastics, GYN, podiatry, dental, ENT, and ophthalmology. Out-of-department procedures include endoscopy, cardioversions/TEE, and interventional radiology. Notably, this position does not involve cardiac or thoracic cases. CRNAs function independently to provide labor epidurals on a designated labor and delivery tract.
