About the Team
Trinity Health Medical Group (THMG) is seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join our established Trinity Health Grand Rapids Gastroenterology Team. We are a skilled and welcoming group of six dedicated physicians and five advanced practice providers, with plans for continued growth. About the Role
You will serve as a referral center for Trinity Health West Michigan, providing specialized care across the region. This role offers the opportunity to work in a cutting-edge setting with an established advanced endoscopy program. You will utilize modern facilities equipped with Olympus 190 scopes and collaborate closely with the Lacks Cancer Center and the Cancer Center Network of West Michigan, supported by surgical oncology, medical oncology, colorectal surgery, and interventional radiology.
Your day-to-day will involve a highly manageable call schedule (anticipated every 8th week) and a balanced workload. Typical daily endoscopy schedules include 14 outpatient procedures, while inpatient census often averages fewer than 10 patients, with APP support for inpatient consults. You will benefit from MAC anesthesia for all inpatient and outpatient procedures, enhancing patient comfort and procedural efficiency. Additionally, you will engage in educational opportunities through resident teaching and mentorship, contributing to the development of future clinicians.

A valid State of Michigan license, DEA license, and BLS certification are required at the time of employment.
