We have an exciting opportunity for a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Inspector at our growing facility in Columbus, Georgia. Columbus Forge, a recognized leader in producing disks and airfoils for the aerospace propulsion market, is looking for dedicated individuals to support our organization. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment where you can incorporate new ideas into practice.
As an NDT Inspector, you will work directly with the Quality, Process, and Engineering (QP&E) team to ensure the highest standards of quality. Your day will involve performing ultrasonic inspections using Matec and IRT systems, analyzing computer-generated data, and signing off on product inspections. You will also conduct daily equipment walk-arounds, maintain cleanliness in the inspection area, and troubleshoot equipment issues. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Material Control Lab and manufacturing personnel to investigate problems encountered during inspection and determine their effect on the part.
This position is available on the Weekend Night Shift (AWW2), running from Friday evening to Monday morning (6:30 PM to 6:30 AM). A shift premium is associated with this compensation package. Please note that final work schedules are determined by the business, which reserves the right to modify shift times, days, or hours at any time.
