About the Role
As a Non-Destructive Test Technician 2, you will operate within a team-oriented environment to ensure aircraft parts, sub-assemblies, major assemblies, and installations are built to type design data. Your work is critical in maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in a world-class aviation environment.
In this role, you will perform non-destructive testing (NDT) to determine product acceptability, record and evaluate inspection results, and ensure strict adherence to radiation safety standards. You will conduct automated ultrasonic C-scan inspections of composite parts and manage the calibration and inventory of NDT equipment. Beyond technical execution, you will collaborate with the team to meet priorities, efficiency, and cost objectives, while providing technical support and guidance to other technicians as needed.

Requirements
- verifiedHigh School Diploma or GED
- verified2 years of NDT-related experience
- verifiedCertified in at least one NAS 410 NDT method
- verifiedMust be NAS 410 Level II certifiable in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Eddy Current (ET)
- verifiedAbility to certify in a second method within 1 year
- verifiedProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- verifiedAbility to read blueprints and interpret technical data
- verifiedBasic shop math and measurement skills
- verifiedAbility to read, write, speak, and understand English

- verifiedMust be able to lift and transport up to 40 pounds
Nice to Have
Preferred certifications in Ultrasonic (UT) C-Scan/TTU, Eddy Current (ET), and Computed Radiography (RT). Experience with Through Transmission and Immersion techniques. Proficiency with Solumina and CATIA V5/6. ASQ (American Society for Quality) certificate. Experience in determining product acceptability.
