This position serves as a Service Technician within our Service Facility, focusing on Gamma Radiography, NDT-related products, and the recovery of radioactive sources from industrial gauges. The role is critical to maintaining the safety and efficiency of our operations, requiring a blend of mechanical aptitude and strict adherence to regulatory standards.
Upon completing an in-depth QSA Global training program, you will handle the full lifecycle of our equipment, from the service and repair of Gamma RT components to the safe loading, removal, and disposal of radioactive sources. You will work as part of a team that prioritizes safety and quality, performing tasks such as metal cutting, welding, instrument calibration, and detailed record-keeping subject to regulatory audits. The role also involves operating radiation detection instrumentation, performing leak tests, and acting as a team member in emergency response situations.
