This position is responsible for performing Nondestructive Testing (NDT) inspections during the disassembly and repair process. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and integrity of our engines. This is a weekend position, scheduled from Friday through Sunday, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM.\n You will aid in the NDT process using methods such as Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Immersion Ultrasonic, and/or Eddy Current. Your day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with the selection, preparation, loading, calibration, and operation of testing equipment. You will also document work performed and results found on product travelers, while maintaining the cleanliness of the equipment and inspection area. The role requires completing classroom theory, on-the-job training, and certification examinations as required by Pratt & Whitney.
This role is designated as Onsite at our facility in Columbus, Georgia. Employees in onsite roles work primarily at the assigned site, as production and maintenance workers are essential to engine development. Candidates are responsible for their own commuting to and from the site.

NDT experience and/or NDT Level 1 certification, preferably in Ultrasonic or Eddy Current (ET). Experience in a quality/aerospace manufacturing environment and proficiency with quality procedures. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and SAP. P/A&P/Repairman License.
