About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected Neurosurgery practice at the Howell Allen / Ascension Medical Group facility in Nashville, TN. Supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network, you will serve as a dedicated 1:1 APP working exclusively with a single surgeon.
In this full-time role (Monday–Friday, 7 AM–5 PM), you will operate in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The position offers a unique work-life balance with no call structure, allowing you to focus on high-quality patient care. You will provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health services under physician supervision, handling everything from patient history and assessments to treatment management and family counseling. Physician support is available for surgery and patient follow-up, ensuring a collaborative environment.
Spinal surgery experience is preferred, and a background in both inpatient and outpatient environments is essential. This role is designed for a professional seeking to make a significant impact within a nonprofit health system that values your expertise.
