About the Opportunity
The Enterprise Communications Services 3 (ECS3) program supports our intelligence customer across numerous operating locations. Our focus is to help the organization technically transform its current services through the insertion of leading-edge technology. To accomplish this, we are charged with the development of new designs, their implementation, and the operation of new or enhanced services. Over the life of the contract, we will drive continual service improvement through technology modernization for LANs, WANs, unified communications, video telecommunication, and streaming services.
About the Role
As a Tier 2 Network Administrator, you will be challenged with enterprise support problems, coordinating with the Network Operations Center and other operational staff to address break-fix issues, configuration updates, and technology upgrades for network routers and switches. You will be expected to coordinate ticket acceptance and resolutions while supporting the development of technical resolution reports for critical network outages.
In this role, you will work independently with some supervision. In remote locations, you must function as an independent engineer, handling maintenance and network problem-solving with minimal or intermittent input from other tiers or locations. The problems you face will be difficult, requiring detailed information gathering, analysis, and investigation. You will employ creativity and ingenuity to develop new technical solutions applicable across the enterprise, drawing heavily on your prior experience.
