About the Role
GovCIO is seeking a ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions in support of a critical USAF program. This role serves as the technical anchor for a mission-critical environment, ensuring that platform delivery aligns with federal and Department of Defense security standards while driving scalability and compliance.
As the primary Subject Matter Expert, you will provide hands-on technical leadership across multiple platform domains, including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, IRM, SecOps, HRSD, and App Engine. Your work will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and robust technical blueprints, guiding developers and administrators through the full lifecycle of solution design and implementation.
About the Team & Mission
You will be embedded onsite at Langley AFB, Virginia, working directly with Program Managers, Product Owners, and key stakeholders. The team operates within a high-stakes defense context, requiring a deep understanding of network infrastructure, security protocols, and the unique constraints of federal IT environments. Success in this role means delivering secure, compliant solutions that directly support the operational needs of the USAF.
Hiring Process
Candidates selected for this role must possess a Top Secret with SCI Eligibility clearance. The selection process involves a thorough review of technical expertise in ServiceNow architecture and network engineering, alongside verification of required certifications (ServiceNow CTA and DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II).
