At Leidos, we outthink, outbuild, and outpace the status quo because the mission demands it. We are not hiring followers; we are recruiting those who disrupt, provoke, and refuse to fail. While Step 10 is ancient history, we are already at Step 30, moving faster than anyone else dares.
The Senior Data Center Technician provides critical operational support for SEC ISS data center services, ensuring infrastructure that is reliable, secure, and meticulously documented. This role serves as the operational backbone across headquarters, primary, alternate, and regional data center sites, leading the day-to-day execution of complex infrastructure activities.
You will be the face of data center readiness, managing hardware moves, adds, and changes while coordinating power, cabling, and rack build-outs. Your work directly impacts the SEC's ability to maintain 24x7x365 emergency response capabilities, including strict 2-hour response timelines for urgent incidents. By partnering with system architecture and operations teams, you will ensure that System Change Requests are executed accurately and on schedule, bridging the gap between technical requirements and physical implementation.
Leidos anticipates this requisition will remain open for at least 3 days from the original posting date. For U.S. positions, the close date will be no earlier than 3 days after the posting date, subject to business needs.
Leidos is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are committed to building a diverse workforce and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
