We are seeking an experienced Bridge Inspection Team Lead to join our team. In this role, you will lead field inspection teams in performing bridge and structural inspections in accordance with NBIS standards. You will plan, coordinate, and execute inspection projects to meet client and regulatory requirements while performing hands-on inspections of bridges and related structures.
Beyond technical execution, you will mentor and supervise inspection staff, ensuring accurate data collection and adherence to safety and quality standards. You will serve as a key liaison, coordinating with project managers, clients, and stakeholders regarding schedules, deliverables, and inspection outcomes. This position requires a willingness to work nights and overtime when project assignments demand it, often involving travel to diverse project sites.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Experience in NC, WV, and MD. Completed comprehensive training course based on the FHWA Bridge Inspector's Reference Manual (BIRM) (NHI Course 130055) and be currently with refresher requirements. Additional NHI coursework: Bridge Inspection Techniques for Nonredundant Steel Tension Members (NHI Course 130078), Inspection of Ancillary Highway Structures (NHI Course 130087B).
Skills: Nbis, Aashto, Fhwa, Vdot, Microstation, MS Office, Bridge Inspection, Structural Inspection, Rope Access, Under-Bridge Inspection Units.
Education: High School Diploma required; Associate's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred; Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
