As an MRI Technologist at Avera McKennan Hospital, you will be the vital link between advanced imaging technology and patient care. Operating MRI equipment, you will create clinical diagnostic images as directed by physicians, ensuring every procedure meets established standards. Your day involves more than just scanning; you will prepare and position patients, providing clear instructions to ease their experience while maintaining competency in IV injections for contrast media. You will collaborate closely with radiologists and physicians to tailor specialized protocols, monitor patient conditions throughout exams, and ensure the efficient flow of daily schedules. This role also offers the opportunity to mentor staff and students, contributing to the growth of the Radiology Department.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. 1-3 years of training/experience in MRI.

Education: Associate's or equivalent from a 2 year college or technical school.
