About the Role
As an MRI Technologist at Avera, you will be the vital link between advanced imaging technology and patient care. Your primary mission is to operate MRI equipment to create clinical diagnostic images as directed by physicians, performing routine diagnostic procedures with precision and efficiency. This role is designed for those who thrive in a collaborative environment where technical expertise meets compassionate patient interaction.
In this position, you will prepare and position patients, providing clear instructions to ensure their comfort and safety during scans. You will maintain competency in IV injections for contrast media, monitoring patient conditions throughout the exam while researching lab data and adhering to strict safety protocols. Beyond the technical aspects, you will play a key role in the department's growth by assisting with staff and student orientation, conducting MRI classes, and maintaining the rigorous records required for Joint Commission accreditation and OSHA compliance.

Requirements
