About the Role
As an MRI Technologist at Avera McKennan Hospital, you will be the cornerstone of our diagnostic imaging services. You will operate advanced MRI equipment to produce clinical diagnostic images as directed by physicians, ensuring every procedure is performed accurately and efficiently according to established standards. This role is vital for providing precise diagnostic data that guides patient care.
Your day-to-day involves preparing and positioning patients, instructing them on procedures, and managing the administration of IV contrast media with competence and care. You will coordinate daily schedules to maximize efficiency, consult with radiologists and physicians on specialized protocols, and monitor patient conditions throughout the exam. Beyond clinical duties, you will play a key role in maintaining departmental records, supporting quality assurance initiatives, and assisting with the training and orientation of new staff and students.

Requirements
- verifiedAssociate's degree or equivalent from 2-year college, technical school, or hospital-based Radiologic Technology Program

- verifiedLess than 1 year experience with thorough knowledge of radiologic and MRI terminology, practices, procedures, physiology, and human anatomy
