This position serves as a vital link in our Critical Care Patient Care Delivery team, focusing on the continuous monitoring and management of patient cardiac rhythms. You will be stationed in a ten-bed Critical Care Unit equipped with thirty-two telemetry units, where your primary mission is to observe arrhythmia computers and maintain accurate records of patient cardiac rhythms.
In this role, you will act as a proactive communicator within the healthcare team. You will be responsible for interpreting cardiac rhythms, notifying appropriate personnel of any rhythm changes, and initiating the organization of patient medical records. Your work ensures that physician orders are processed accurately and that the work environment remains therapeutic and healing for patients and their families. Additionally, you will collaborate with team members to coordinate care delivery, assist in discharge planning, and facilitate the orientation of new employees.
