This position serves as a vital link in our Critical Care Unit, where you will observe the arrhythmia computer and maintain accurate records of patient cardiac rhythms. You will be responsible for transcribing the medical plan of care and communicating nursing care needs in a timely and accurate manner. Working within a ten-bed critical care unit equipped with thirty-two telemetry units, you will monitor CRT screens and ensure the healing and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
Beyond monitoring, you will collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, assist in discharge planning, and facilitate staff development for new employees. Your role requires maintaining a professional, courteous flow of information and ensuring the work area is organized and ready for patient needs.
