This position serves as a vital link in our Critical Care Patient Care Delivery team, focusing on the continuous monitoring and management of patient cardiac health. You will be stationed in a ten-bed Critical Care Unit equipped with thirty-two telemetry units, acting as the primary observer of arrhythmia computers and patient rhythms.
Your day will involve maintaining accurate records of patient cardiac rhythms and transcribing medical plans of care. You will be responsible for communicating nursing care needs in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that rhythm changes are immediately reported to the appropriate personnel. Beyond clinical monitoring, you will play a key role in organizing patient medical records, processing physician orders, and facilitating a healing and therapeutic environment for patients and their families. This role also offers opportunities to assist in the orientation of new employees and facilitate staff development.
