This position serves as a vital link in our Critical Care Patient Care Delivery team, focusing on the continuous monitoring and management of patient cardiac rhythms. You will be stationed in a ten-bed Critical Care Unit equipped with thirty-two telemetry units, acting as the eyes and ears for the arrhythmia computer.
Your day will involve observing the arrhythmia computer to promptly notify appropriate personnel of any rhythm changes and maintaining accurate records of each patient's cardiac status. Beyond monitoring, you will transcribe medical plans of care, communicate nursing care needs in a timely and accurate manner, and facilitate staff development by assisting in the orientation of new employees. You will also collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, organize medical records, and maintain a healing and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
To join our team, candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing. While formal education requires a high school diploma or equivalent, we provide a supportive path for growth: successful hires are expected to complete an approved basic arrhythmia program and obtain BLS certification within 90 days of employment. Additionally, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification is required within the first year and renewed bi-annually.
We offer a comprehensive benefits program designed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being, including medical, dental, vision, PTO, retirement matching, and tuition reimbursement.
Williamson Health is an equal-opportunity employer and a drug-free workplace. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.
