Your role is critical in identifying rhythm changes and promptly notifying the appropriate personnel to ensure timely intervention.
Beyond monitoring, you will act as a hub for communication and organization within the unit. You will transcribe medical plans of care, process physician orders, and maintain accurate, timely documentation. You will collaborate closely with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, assist in discharge planning, and facilitate a healing, therapeutic environment for patients and their families. Additionally, you will play a key role in staff development by assisting in the orientation of new employees.
To join our team, candidates must be prepared to complete specific certifications within defined timelines, including an approved basic arrhythmia program and BLS within 90 days of hire, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification within one year. We value formal education and training, requiring a high school diploma or equivalent.
