This position serves as a vital link in our Critical Care Patient Care Delivery team, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients in a ten-bed critical care unit equipped with thirty-two telemetry units. You will be responsible for observing arrhythmia computers and maintaining accurate records of patient cardiac rhythms. Your role involves interpreting cardiac rhythms, notifying appropriate personnel of any changes, and initiating or organizing patient medical records in a timely and accurate manner.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, assist in discharge planning, and maintain a healing and therapeutic environment for patients and their families. You will also play a key part in staff development by assisting in the orientation of new employees and facilitating their integration into the team. Success in this position requires the ability to sit for extended periods and observe CRT screens for up to twelve hours while communicating effectively in English.
